Acrylique et mortier sur toile 20 X 28
(nouvelle photo de janvier 2009)

sommeil troublé
qui nous dérange
sommeil profond
d’une inconscience

lumière absente
glace qui fond
incandescence
qui se morfond

la fin des tords
la fin des peines
sommeil pollué
d’une vie urbaine

nice - it's got a unique taste to it and its appealing to the eyes. the tree is pretty cool too it looks like its got quite the detail in it... and 'crinkly' stuff on the guys arm looks wonderful.. like roots from the tree

where do you come up with these ideas ... like when you put the brush to the paper.. is it just something that you just go with.. and whatever comes out of it? or do you generally have an idea of what you're going to paint when you begin?

Anyways, great picture! :highfive:

:ahoy:Congratulations, this deviation has been featured in my journal as well as a news article you can find here [link] I encourage you to fav the news article to help spread the love within the community! :blowkiss:

“Rather than asking ‘Who am I?’ we
might ask, ‘In how many ways can I be myself?’ Rather
than asking ‘What is my place in the world?’ the
question might be better put, ‘In how many ways can I
experience a sense of belonging to the world?’”
